His brothers started playing Irish music at local pubs under the name "The Susko Brothers" and Sean would pop his head in
ever now and again. Sean was actually the first guitar player of the family. Just like everyone else in the band he
just decided he wanted to play it, sat down and taught himself on an old 6-string stashed away in a closet. He actually
got Kevin interested in the guitar so when he popped his head in, he was really checking up on his student! Now if you know Sean then you know how dangerous it is to give someone like him another instrument to express his inner
voice. If you found yourself drinking with him, it was just a matter of time until the guitar came out. Once the music
started...the craic was not far behind. |
After playing the songs he knew, it was not uncommon to find yourself making up
lyrics to a new song called My Girl's a Ninja or I Met My Girlfriend on the Internet...just ask our sound guy Pat
about Daddy's Lull-a-bye! Sean soon joined up with Whiskey Limerick and brought his talents with him. Sean is the author of the Whiskey Limerick
originals Mallory Mallone, The Letter, Weekend Superhero and Shamrock Your World.
Sean has been on a temporary assignment in Florida since last October so he hasn't been on stage with us full-time. He
still pops his head in from time to time and will be in town (and on stage) the weekend of Saint Patrick's Day!
So stop by for the show and make fun of his sunburn!
